Welcome to OpenK1, a repository of various projects I am working on, including rooted firmware for the Creality K1, K1 Max, and Ender 3 v3 KE.  The project extends beyond simply rooting the firmware, but adding additional functionality and even creating a Debian-based firmware with KIAUH.
